Tate, do you even check I worked at the FSA before? It's on my CV o.O *dies*
I did that same job. Another consultant rang me about this role only the advertisement had changed on her end and the pay rate is £9.50 ph. What. Is. Going. On.
FSA you must be desperate for staff to up the rate like that. Last time I was told about this on Monday the rate was £8. What a jump!! It's tempting but...
Regardless couldn't my regular job agency check anyway? *Pikachu sigh*
I could go back and do this same role if I wanted to however I'm wondering if I'd be mad to do that. Oh god I don't know what I'm doing at the moment. True you may not have to train me if the routines are still the same as two years ago but to go through all those stressful days where typing work goes wrong from other people and I get accusatory glares for working too gloomily or too hard um I think I get enough horror as it is with what I do.
I guess this is a risk I have to take. Hopefully something else will come up. Something better. Yes I like the Canary Wharf area. Yes the shopping centre is fab. Yes I can choose what I want to eat every day. But can I commit to this job once again? Half the people I know have gone. Is there a point? I wouldn't be surprised if the work is messy since I was last there. The department in general could be an absolute mess perhaps.
edit @ 16:38 Dammit I did the unthinkable and called up Tate again. It appears they haven't found anyone for that same role yet. The rate is £9 ph just like before for me. If they don't want me again it's no big deal. I've been to that department. Done their work. Know the do's and don'ts. If I did get the job then I'm going to have to endure the pain just like the old days -.- I'd be starting next week if I had to. And I know I'll have to OT big time. Yay for stress.
