Still pushing myself to read through The Da Vinci Code. But when you're too tired and just want to doze off on the train that's really difficult to do, ne?
Right now I'm up to the part where Teabing is discussing about the Holy Grail with Langdon and Sophie. I've not seen the movie yet but I can imagine who's who instantly besides Tom Hanks and Audrey Tatou's roles.
The characters from what I've read so far don't have much depth or development. And the "romance" between Sophie and Robert is rather flat. Somehow I get the impression Dan Brown isn't focusing on his characters. It's more on the Holy Grail mystery and religious theories. There's one character who's intriguing me. Quite a giveaway though if I mention him.
"Luka must have been your attending," jokes my brother after I tell him I had a dream involving him mentoring me. It was a spooky dream last night. Why would a medical doctor want to force me to memorize poetry? I can't remember if Luka is a poem fan or not. But other than that, my God I was not good at remembering every single line of this poem. It was connected to British culture I think. Luka is hot but I know he was like a very determined teacher. Reminds me of Yoshiki in a weird way. His face was something on the lines of, "Don't make me angry. Just do as you're told."
I think I was influenced by school memories during lunch time. I intend to check for any admin vacancies at my old secondary school for a laugh and I was imagining what it would be like to go back to school as an employee rather than a student. Bizarre schtuff, no?
