Exploration of Sailormoon Crossovers
As the subject heading implies...
Series that are crossed over with Sailormoon -- The list is endless but the ones I've spotted are:

I've seen one or two Rurouni Kenshin and Saiyuki crossovers (this doesn't count my fics) but if I have missed any other series out then feel free to let me know. This is a rough list as you can see and I don't know all the series off by heart, thus this exploration won't be as in depth as it may sound at first glance.
Inuyasha: As the story has the girl falls in the well to another world plot you can easily assume your fav Sailor Senshi will do the same too. So when a girl is in the new world she'll be paired up with a guy. Who? The most common bachelors are Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. Kouga and Miroku don't seem to pop up as much for being boyfriends. It's the demons that get to have their fun.
Harry Potter: Sailor Senshi goes to Hogwarts. Can that really work? You'd have to impress me hard but I fear HP/SM fics because they're often done badly. I personally think Buffy and Cardcaptor Sakura crosses over better with HP. With Buffy you have Giles, Tara and Willow who deal with magic and I think they're the best guys to go to Hogwarts. Cardcaptor Sakura/HP can be done. I've seen it. Common boyfriends for the Sailor Senshi range from Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Severus Snape. There are rare times writers will use the Weasley boys. Makoto is often paired with Harry o.O Draco is the overused "Bish."
Dragonball Z: By far the most butchered crossover idea I've come across to this day. Who can blame the flamers for...flaming harshly? Most overused Bish is so (Mirai) Trunks. Goku, Gohan and Vegeta aren't common bachelors in people's fics. Every fan insists their fav girl can go with Trunks so you end up with Trunks/Rei, Trunks/Minako, Trunks/Ami, Trunks/Mako, Trunks/Usagi, Trunks/Setsuna. Ah the list goes on and on. The rabid fans put me off and I just think, "Sod this, want to hog the boy then go ahead."
Weiss Kreuz: One cannot deny this is a cheesy series yet it is so commonly crossed over with Sailormoon because the guys are good looking. It still leaves a shock in my mind whenever I think about it. The girl will be paired with either a member of Weiss or Schwarz. It's normally the former. In all honesty, you can't really cross these two series up, unless the writer is somehow desperate for angst and somewhat dark stuff (and to pair their fav girl with their fav guy from either Weiss or Schwarz). Although if people want dark stuff they'd turn to X now, wouldn't they? I've written my own crossover on these two series but after reading through my stuff, I realise it doesn't make sense. OK so Rei may interact with Schwarz because she's got powers. I'll be lenient on that.
Yu Gi Oh: This is slowly rising in the fandom. Most common Bish is Kaiba Seto without a doubt. Again he gets the same treatment as Trunks. Paired with nearly every single girl from Sailormoon you can imagine. Like with Dragonball Z, the rabid fans have left me with a bad impression and as much as I'd like to read a Seto/Makoto fic, I know it won't be possible. If the fans want to desperately fangirl over Seto/Minako or whatever they can do so because it doesn't bother me.
Rurouni Kenshin: Notice how a large number of Moonie writers want to transport Usagi/Serenity into the Meiji era? Then again why do most of the stories do that with Usagi/Serenity? It's just...cliche, but I won't type about a Usagi being overused rant because that's going off topic. The fans often pair Usagi with Kenshin. It's normally him or Sanosuke. One story had an implied Saitou/Usagi, which I just don't see at all. Since when is Usagi capable of being part of the Shinsengumi? Ah gimme a Saitou/Sano fic She doesn't even do martial arts. She's a pure hearted naive if not klutzy heroine who has over a 1000 fans. She's not a fist fighter and if I ever see a story where she learns the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu in a small amount of time I will go berserk
Naruto: Isn't it a bit Sueish to make the chosen Senshi -not just Usagi- be a secret weapon to be hidden from the darker characters or official villains? Why is the normally pacifist character turned into a full fledged fighting machine when that isn't what she even is? If one wants to put a character in a ninja school of sorts why not use a character who fights naturally? o.O Dammit can't win at all
Gundam Wing: All the guys get paired with the girls. Suddenly Usagi/Heero is turned rabidly fanon along with Rei/Wufei, Ami/Trowa, Minako/Quatre and Duo/Makoto and not everyone likes these pairings. None of the girls are perfect soldiers who can pilot Gundams as well as the boys. That's making them a Mary sue.
My point Now with what I said about being put off by some of the rabid fans, I've come to the conclusion that I'd rather write something that nobody really touches (hey if anyone wrote a Sailormoon crossover with a Yaoi series then the young fans won't know what it's about and won't read it). The teens in the fandom pick something that is popular like Fushigi Yuugi or Lord of the Rings and stick to that, which would explain the large no of (bad) fics based on that Sailormoon crossover idea. So while lots of people are fighting over who Seto deserves to be with, I'm taking time to write something on Aoshi/Makoto.
