A quick round up over the past month or two. Things which caught my eye. Some which surprised me.

Lucky Charm - Nichkhun

Nichkhun's first solo debut release is easy-going and incredibly sweet. Watching the MV and listening to this song makes me relaxed and if one dreamt of Nichkhun treating them so well constantly beaming while they were resting in bed they would feel at home, at ease, in full comfort. Who wouldn't want to sit on the clouds in this situation? Majority of the tracks on his album are in English with one Korean version of a previous track. Everything was self-composed by Nichkhun.

Enough - SF9

Suave as ever, SF9 return with a new song that is all about telling a lucky girl they don't need to be any prettier for them. A definite grower after many listens (the autotune wasn't necessary in some places to be honest) but I highly appreciate the choreography. Taeyang is just magic when he is in centre. Focus On Me - Jus2

Chilled, smooth tune we have from this new sub-unit of GOT7. At first I was rather surprised to see a sub-unit consisting of these two members but I'm definitely looking forward to what the rest of the mini album will entail. Yes, Jus2 you have me focused on you for sure after hearing this song.

Regular - WayV

WayV is a Chinese unit of NCT, with some of the current Chinese members teaming up with newer idols to form a new China Line from SMTOWN ** Regular was originally sung in Korean with an English version alongside it and WayV do incredibly well blending their Mandorap and vocals for the Chinese language version.

** Technically I would like to consider this unit "Chinese Line" or "Huaren / 华人 Line" simply because not every single member is actually from China (Ten being an example) and that everyone is ethnically Chinese no matter where they were born. It's refreshing to see more idols of a similar ethnic background. That is, ethnic Chinese but born outside of China. I can relate.
