Phrase of my life methinks...
Anyway I've almost prepped myself for next Friday [KARD]. I hope this is worth it because I took a gamble. But since I'm distant from GD, I may as well make use of what I have for other things. I wouldn't say I know them THAT well but they had been mentioned a lot so I thought I'd give them a whirl. Still salty MX couldn't come here. MyMusicTaste campaign wasn't enough to get them to this city D:
Wild KARD world tour is probably going to have fan meet elements to fill out the 2-3 hour length. Bearing in mind there will be group photo and hi-touch session as well as a few song performances. Thank god I have a day off from work. Had to work a normal week two weeks ago to make up for the Bank Holiday tomorrow. Otherwise I'd have worked this Friday instead.
I didn't think I was able to get tickets. Original plan was to come into the office very early before general sale started so my supervisor wouldn't see what I was doing. I came in late, took a look at Ticketmaster sneakily and saw tickets were still available.
I ended up buying the Ultimate KARD package for unreserved balcony seating - unless I get told last minute I have to go to the mosh pit area in ULU Live Student Central (it's in the area where I currently work and I walked past it once when I was lost - need to retrace my steps). Minutes later I check the FB events and people said the tickets sold out. WTF? I bought my ticket at 9:45am. So maybe 10 minutes after I got my ticket it all vanished. Did I get the last balcony one? o_O
I actually think the presale MyMusicTaste had arranged didn't go as planned. Maybe give the presale code only to the top 10 taste makers and nobody else. No idea what happened there. Saying you get a discount and that Top 10 TasteMakers will be rewarded with TWO Ultimate KARD Package tickets...no wonder the tickets flew out the window.
I lashed out at the organisers in an email for changing the rules on the queuing without the cussing I think of in my head. It was a mess. Maybe if I had decided to go early the minute it started it would have made a little difference. I emphasise 'a little.'
Apologies if you had trouble on the day. The daytime event was free and was very busy for the venue capacity.
The queuing system was arranged to take in consideration of the numbers and working with the best advice of the venue on the safest methods to hold that amount of people awaiting for the doors to reopen at 7pm for the ticketed evening show. We hope you enjoyed the show.
I didn't enjoy it that much, though you get what you paid for. I just miss Keunakeun quite a bit after seeing their endless fan cafe updates and Tinkerbells managing to spot them in London. Yeah...salty.
When will we meet, Seungjun?
