Some thoughts
Leaving doesn't mean I want to get married and have kids. It's something different.
I've been thinking about what to do with this LJ and like with my other blogspots, Twitters and Tumblrs I considered the following things:-
- Delete this LJ. I've had it for a long time. Oddly enough many things happened as soon as I finished my final year at uni. I started posting on here, thinking I'd never use it but I was wrong. Then Twitter and Tumblr came along...and now I'm posting on Weibo more often. There is no doubt my LJ content has changed dramatically - for better or worse. I'd probably say I'm more insane now. Like with my old fanfics, I re-read some of my posts and wonder why the hell I wrote such things.
Alternatively if I don't delete this LJ I would:
- Completely abandon this LJ account. Leave it alone and just not update. I'm no longer active in communities and don't go looking for online fandom BFFs (things like the The Sky's The Limit WYF Line group I sometimes post in, it's mainly a discussion place but everyone just adds each other if they want to). exochocolate was a big reason my LJ suddenly woke up but since countless shenanigans happened last year I just stopped commenting. I do lurk on wyfuniverse for Duizhang updates (but my sources are on Twitter from Meigeni, the amount of RTs walao) and once in a blue moon I would check out Omona for some things. Even keep an eye on the BTS, B.A.P + VIXX communities for new info if I missed it on Twitter. Abandoning this account would mean starting a brand new one and just blab. OTOH I already blab on my blogger accounts about my culture.
- If I kept this LJ I would start a new LJ community and post my writing there. I made the mistake of not doing that in the first place. When I wanted to add my fanfics and new poetry to an LJ account that's what I did. I have a writing journal that I've not touched in a while. I could've just saved myself time and made a community. D'oh OTL.
~ I have two Tumblrs and a lot of Twitter accounts. I started a new locked Twitter account specifically for MGN/EXO!OT12 and BTS - well mainly for WYF because I tweet back and forth to other Meigeni from LINE who follow me on Twitter. I feel like the freedom has been lost and I've pissed people off because I dared to like a few groups who have questionable fandoms although I can officially say Obayo to Super Junior. I've been against people from the get-go. What I do I can never win. It's messy. ICYMI what I wrote on Twitter ==> here
