The Arrival~
Well I woke up early in the morning, didn't get too much sleep, but it was all right. Started going to the airport at about 4:02 am, my flight LEAVES at 6:25am so I was a little bit uneasy worring that i'd miss my flight, since Kitty told me the night before that I need to be at least 3 hours early. Things were different for me in the way bieng that I only have one piece of luggage which was about medium size, so I didn't have to go through the whole baggage hell thing. I went back and forth like 3 or 4 times just trying to get my boarding pass, then went through security with like absolutely no problem (thank god) got to Gate C9 and waited for my flight to depart for Memphis.
The flight attendant on this plane sounded like a African American Hill-Billy O.o, hehe she had the absolutely wierdest accent, everything was like "Air-qwoft" to her. So yeah, I just found that funny, but anyways the flight was rather long, I suppose it was a very smooth flight, but since i've never really been on planes before so I can't compare what's a good flight and what's a bad. From Kitty's expression when she got down here the first time she said that here flight was just like "oh my god" so.. yeah, mine was a bit easier.
Memphis all I had to say about that was "brown". Everything and I mean EVERYTHING in Memphis was brown, you'd think that a place would have a little more colors and scenery appeals, but.. no. Everything from the grass, to the trees, to the freakin roads were brown >_>. Ugly place, was a bit cold when I got there, but its nothing compared to here. The only temperature I noticed though was when we exited that TINY little "air-qwoft" and walked through the attach-on walkway to the gate. I walked arround Memphis airport not knowing where to go for about 5 minutes, but the whole direction I was going I found out I was going the right way the whole time. Went down this REALLY long hall that had these forward and back kinda escalator thingies, so yeah decided on walking on those and it took me like twice as fast so it was as if I was running but still walking XD (I thought it was pretty convenient). So I look at one of the monitors and I find the flight departing to Milwaukke, so i'm like uhhh yeah that's mine. My gate was B32, so that was like looooooong walk, but still I made it to the gate with time that I have to sit down and wait for them to tell us to start boarding.
This flight was rather short, I think I fell asleep but dont remember exactly. I arrive at Milwaukke General and went down to the luggage claim 2 spot which LOOKED like the right one, since it said Northwest, the odd factor here though was that there weren't many people here o.o So I didn't know if I was right or wrong, since I was the only one there for the next 10 minutes. I waited there for a little bit and then I saw my baby coming down the escalator, I went up to her hugged and kissed her, and noted that she was just as beautiful as she's always been ^^. We got to her car, after finding where she parked, and then drove to the bank to deposit one of her checks, and then to the Pick N' Save where we picked up some cheese, and icecream. We got to her house and cuddled and spent some time together and can already say that this is paradise again.
She made me eat some beef stew which i've never really had/cared to have before ^^;, but I found it at least edible, of course it can't compare to something like Taco Bell, dur. We then took a nap together and cuddled for a really long time which made both of us feel really comfy and very happy ^^. When we got up later we started watching Final Destination together and after about 30 minutes into the movie some unfimilar but very well known faces showed up! Mark, Becky, and Patrick all came over ^^, we ended up watching the rest of the movie, and we all laughed because Patrick kept going to the bathroom pretty much at every part where someone died, because he was like grossed out and disturbed from the whole thing, which was quite funny seeing his reactions. After the movie was over we watched Wanda Sykes on Comedy Central which all got a bunch of good laughs but that's typical Friday-night Stand-up. When she was almost over Tim came and brought his Gamecube and everyone migrated out to the living room and we all played Smash Brothers. Played for close to two-hoursish and had a hella good time.
As everyone was getting ready to go Becky enjoyed playing with Mark's shoes and trying to tie them together where he eventually put himself into a split position and couldn't get up (haha!) Took a couple pictures, which wasn't too easy since everyone kept moving, but twaz fun ^^.
Everyone left, parents went to sleep, Kitty and I cuddled in her bed a while and watched a anime called Chrono Crusade, which so far was really really good, but I was dead sleepy after the first episode was over, real long day. Or at least I was sleepy until came more physically mobile and started having a little bit of playtime (hehe) :3, after midnight I gave Kitty my Valentines for her, which she really loved ^_^ and went to bed soon after a little bit of playtime. All in all, absolutely wonderful day, (past 11am that is pretty much ^^;) That was just my first day, now as I type this on Valentines day, we're getting ready to go out and do stuff later ^^, goodbye for now LJ!
