Пренеприятнейший момент произошёл вчера в Райт Эйде... Или это я просто так реагирую на вещи. Но я был взбешён. Конечно как истинный борец за справедливость не удержался и накатал кляузу в центральный оффис.

This has happened just about 20 minutes ago. I was in a Rite Aid
store on Kings Highway and had to stay in a ridiculously long line, as
usual. Only one register was open and line was about 10 people long. What's
even worse, the line didn't seem to be moving. Some old lady behind me
started to complain, and asked why only one register is open. At the time
cashier was standing there with somebody who appeared as an African-American
store manager,. The store manager looked angrily at the old lady and
commented her complaints with phrase: 'Don't you see, I'm here. What, are
you Russian?' It is outrageous to hear something that ethnically offensive.
Old lady was very shocked to hear something like that, and responded "no,
I'm American, and I was born in the United States, and what does it matter
if I'm Russian, or Jewish or an American". Angry look of Rite Aid employee
was the response.
I'm myself Ukrainian, but I can not even start to imagine how offensive that
was to every Russian person in line. And Kings Highway area primarily is
Russian, so probably half of people in line were Russian.
Now from what I understand Rite Aid claims to be very tolerant to matters of
diversity and should not tolerate any display of racial or ethnical hate,
which clearly took place today.
When second cashier opened register, I was next and I've asked her (she was
a girl who looked Indian and had "Arti" written on her nametag) the name of
the rude Rite Aid employee. She told me she doesn't know his name but they
call him "G". Neither "G", nor other Indian girl working at the register
where he was standing had name tags on them.
Please take every necessary measure to make sure nothing like that happens
again. I would advise terminating the employment of the "G", because every
person he offends is less likely to come to the store again, and I don't
think this is the way Rite Aid wants to conduct business.
If needed I can testify to everything I've said above in court. And this is
exactly where this matter will end up if Rite Aid will not take care of
this issue itself.
Please contact me and let me know how are you going to resolve this issue.

Sincerely, Igor V
