Second Snow Day
All is quiet now. Jon's asleep; hasn't been feeling good all day.
So I got 2 snow days in a row; that's new! It's nice to be able to sit around and do nothing. I've been going to bed at 4am the past 2 nights, but still getting up around 11. I was gonna sleep till 1 today, but got a message from the apartment office saying to move my car so they can plow the parking lot. *grumble grumble* So Katrina and I spent an hour digging our cars out and moving them. Jon slept the whole time... I didn't bother to ask him to help, cause 1) I'd be done before he even got outta bed and 2) there are only 2 shovels anyway. But Then later when he did get up we had to dig his car out (better in the light than the dark) but I did most of the work! He shoveled a little until he could get in his car. Once he got in he'd try to get out, it wouldn't work, I'd shovel some, he'd try again, and I'd shovel some more. Needless to say, I was pissed about that. <.< I got all sweaty again, and my back was killing me. *grumble grumble*
I got a quick shower and we went to the movies to see Avatar. Got Ihop afterwards. Jon's head was still hurting (mine started to hurt too) and he felt achey and chilly. So after we ate we ran to Target and I went in to get advil. I wanted to get nyquil too, just in case. I mean, it is that season, and I was already sick once and wished I had it. But apparently they changed the age for buying nyquil 6 months ago? I never knew there was an age limit in the first place! But now you gotta be 21.. ok, no problem for me. Except the stupid computer wouldn't accept my ID! The lady kept scanning it and asked how old I was, and I said "21" but I said it kinda quickly, so I wonder if that sounded suspicious? But if yah just READ the license, it says in a big red box, right in the middle, that I turned 21 on 9/23/2009. -_- But according to the computer, I was too young. I wanted her to get her manager or sumthin, but there were only 4 cashiers and the lines were all really long, so I just told her to forget about the nyquil. But that really pisses me off. Fuck the computer! -_-
