New Years, Avatar, and Hooping
Happy New Year everyone! It's the big ten! XD
Last night was better than I expected. Jon didn't get outta work till 10:45, so we didn't go to the rave Netty and Perry went to. I was really disappointed, and thought I'd be miserable at Jon's (cause Kyle and Brandon would be there, and they're annoying already, but when they're drunk it's much worse -_-). Luckily for me, Kyle left by the time Megan and I got there, so it was just Brandon and James. James was really annoying <.< but whatever. Megan and I bought some stuff at the liquor store and after a couple cups of long island iced tea and a Mike's I was feeling pretty good. :p I guess I was drunk?? I kept stumbling on my way to the bathroom, and my head was real heavy. We got to see the ball drop and screamed and stuff; I think that put me in a good mood. But then I went looking for these chocolate cookies that the kids hid in Brandon's room, and they were all gone. I think Diego got to them O_< so I was mad at the boys for being stupid and leaving CHOCOLATE on the floor.
But yeah, Evan came over around 1 and we were all just goofing off till 3ish. By then I was struggling to stay awake and since Jon had to get up for work we went to bed. OH! but I made an egg. It was hard.. and I threw the shell in the sink, but Teaky was in the way, so it bounced off his forehead XD Megan and I almost died at that point lol
So that was my new year party-thinger. I still wish I could've gone to that rave... there's always next year.
Um... Wednesday! Netty and I finally got to one of those hoop classes in Philly. We didn't get lost, but it took us awhile to find the place. I had to park first, and we just got out and walked around till we found it. It was hidden, and we went up these stairs and at first couldn't find the right room. We were about 30 minutes late or so, but the class was from 8:30 to 10 instead of 9:30 so that was nice. There were only 3 other girls there, and the instructor. She taught us lots of tricks that I should start practicing before I forget them. @_@ But I need to make a new hoop first!!
Oh, and Netty got me a wine glass for Christmas, and painted Orange whales and blue tuna all over it. It's sooo cute! ^_^ I loves eet.
Tuesday I saw Avatar with Megan after work. But I'll finish that later; gotta go get food with Jonfin!
Ok, so we saw da movie. It was so pretty @_@ Very creative and artistic. The "birds", floating mountains, and giant arches looked like they came right out of a Roger Dean art book. :3 ( Here's his site http://www.rogerdean.com/ check out his work. One of my favorite artists. ^^) The story was predictable in some parts, and reminded me of Disney at one point, but otherwise I liked it. And it's original! Not based off a book or whatever. It's been awhile since I've seen one of those.
I want Jon to see it, so maybe we'll go sometime this week, and then I guess I'll see Sherlock Holmes with him.
I've given up bread for the month of January. And anything in that food group; pasta, baked goods, cereal, etc. So I don't know what to eat anymore! lol my diet was 90% sandwiches and cereal! XD We'll see how I do. I dunno if giving up all grain is a good idea, so I'mna talk to Jon's mom (dun dun DUN) and see if I should allow whole grains or sumthin? And I'm thinking of giving up candy in February (so no V-day candy for meh ;__;) But again! We'll see.
Ok, back to work <.< Tammy got fired. She didn't show up on New Year's eve and didn't call out till 3ish. That's been happening a lot it seems, so she kinda brought it on herself, but still. It's not gonna be the same without her. ;_;
