Finals Week, The Melting Pot, etc.
Ok, having no internet at the apartment sucks. ;_; well, it's not so bad I guess, I just can't update my LJ (I don't wanna write in it in the library, AND I don't know my password... XD) *ahem* Anyway!
It's been a busy week; lots has happened. Lets start with last Tuesday:
mm... Oh yeah, twas my last Russian lesson for the semester. We learned numbers :3 Oh! And in Animal Training we found out who was picked for the special topics class for next semester. Emily and I are 2 of the 6!!! =D We're gonna train chickens and Cockatiels!!! NETTY! I'm gonna train your birdies! lol
Jon came up Wednesday afternoon and we went to Target to do some Christmas shopping. He went all out and bought all this random stuff as gag gifts for his brothers. Adam's getting goggles, Eric's getting a menorah, and Dave's getting a little league baseball bat. lol So they can play "Under-water-Menorah-ball" as Jon calls it. XD
Thursday Jon came up again (Didn't spend the night; I was working Thursday anyway). He skipped his class so we could hang out. I worked from 12-5 to get a few extra hours. It was a SWEET day cause I got my G.I. BILL!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHAHAHAHA finally. Was supposed to get that sucker in SEPTEMBER! Got a check for over $5800; PHEW! Just in time for Christmas. To celebrate, I took Jon to the Melting Pot. Hooooly craaaap talk about FANCY. It was very nice though; they sat us in "Lovers lane"?? It was very privet; just our little table and this big wall so we couldn't see anyone else, and we really didn't hear anyone either. We could control the lights too, so we kept dimming them lol We didn't go for the cheese fondue, just got the meat and dessert, and even ate salads! o.O I like the idea of cooking meat, but it didn't taste that good... Jon's steak tasted good. Go figure. Dessert was AMAZING!!! I'd go back just for that nom nom nom. @_@ It was very expensive though; the bill was about $73 so I just left enough tip to make it an even $100. It was a fun experience, that's for sure.
That night was the last comedian at school for the semester. It was this chick; she had to have been a dancer (kept walking around on her toes) and she was really funny! Though she did make the mistake of cracking an animal-testing joke at a school full of animal majors... uh, not a good idea XD but otherwise, she was awesome.
Friday... Only had Ecology... don't think much happened that night.
Saturday-work was normal. Though there was this little white corgi mix who came in a week ago. She was so cute, but she had mange... so the manager put her down. <.<...... motherfuckerffogiajga What the HELL?! She keeps crazy dogs like REBEL alive, but because she doesn't feel like treating mange she just kills the dog?! -_- fucking sucks. I would have LOVED to take that dog home. *siiiiiigh*
Saturday night I came home for a few hours (8-11) to see Jon. Wasn't my brightest idea... I was hoping for another really great night, like Thursday, but instead it kinda sucked. >.> I was supposed to come home Sunday night to watch the season finale of Dexter, but I was just too tired that day, and didn't want a repeat of Saturday.
Yesterday was my first final, ecology. I feel pretty good about it. After that I went to the mall to do some shopping. Found stuff for my mom, dad, and Ginger. Gotta love Brookstone. :p
And now it's Tuesday! Had my People and Animal's final today; phish! Eaaasy. And now I'm home, and I walked the stinky dogs ^^ And when laundry's done I'm off to Jon's to watch Dexter!!! Can't wait! :p
