(no subject)
Update on my life:
So, ironicness. My sister had her tonsils out yesterday. I have not been sick in like a year. Yesterday I woke up feeling fine, but right about the time my sis was arriving at the hospital my throat got all swollen and sore. Weird? I thought so, too.
Besides that weirdness -- This morning I watched Schindler's List for the first time. Holy shit. It was the best and most horrifying movie I've ever seen. I sobbed through practically the entire thing and for almost an hour after it ended. At one point I was crying quietly and then my Mom and sister came into the room to see if I wanted to go see Proof later in the day and I just lost it. I started explaining some things from the movie to them and I was crying so much I couldn't even get it out. The fact that the events of this movie actually happened is just disgusting. It was horribly disturbing to see and it will haunt me for the rest of my life, but I'm really glad that I watched it.
Went out to dinner with Michelle tonight. I HAD to get out of my house...had some emotional moments with my sister which resulted in me crying and her being pissed at me (what else is new?) and I just couldn't stick around. So, went to dinner at the cutest little restaurant ever (maybe 5 tables) and had a salad and talked about tv stuff and Schindler's List and another movie she'd seen along those same lines. Then we talked about New York and decided for sure on some plays to see: Avenue Q and Chicago. I'm really excited!
