So, people may have seen my #3 (Gale Harold) who is definitely my newest celebrity crush. Don't know who he is? Well, that's probably because you don't watch Queer as Folk, which is an AWESOME show. Some may call it soft-core porn, but I happen to think its brilliant and people who don't like it can bite me. Whoa...where'd THAT come from? I totally have an attitude about this stuff lately (this stuff being gay and lesbian rights). I watched this documentary on Showtime (which is also the network QaF airs on) about the legalization of gay marriages in Massachussettes in 2004 and some of the people just made me so angry I actually cried. These close-minded people are really starting to get to me. I just don't understand them. Am I gay? No. Do I think that because I'm not I should have more rights than they do? NO!!! Its just so infuriating when you see people who have such a warped view of the world. I mean, really, what is the two men down the street getting married and raising and amazing kid gonna do to YOU?! It has NOTHING to do with you! Did I ever post anything about the kid in my ethnic studies class this last semester who said he didn't mind gay people but they shouldn't get married and adopt children because those children would end up being gay just like their parents?! I mean, what kind of fucking logic is that?! If that was the case how do you explain straight couples having gay children?! Its not a fucking choice or a result of "bad" parenting! Ok, I'm getting worked up...I'm done now. My original point: Gale Harold is fucking hot. :)
PS: Does anyone know someone who could make my LJ pretty? I want to get a paid account so I can have my LJ look really nice (like Jinnie's), but I don't know how to do that stuff so.....
