I have many items of news to report. Firstly, I finished reading the novel "The Bridges of Madison County." It's about this affair between a farm wife and a photographer. It's a good novel, I guess. It's one of those books that you think is pretty bad while you are reading it, but you appreciate what the guy meant when it's over. It's also a nice and short book. However, it's pretty cliche and has some weird philosophy that may or may not be accurate. I give the book a 7.0.

Secondly, today was my brother's 16th birthday and it was also the day that he came back from camp in Missouri. We had cake and root beer floats, and gave him presents, four of them to be exact. Then went to see "Spiderman." The movie was pretty well done, but it made you dislike the character played by Dunst (MAry Jane.) She comes off as fickle and junk. I'm probably a jerk for dissing the Dunst, but whatever. I know I often talk about how much I hate my brother, but that is mostly when I am in a bad mood. Even when I call him fat, I realize that he isn't really that huge when you put it in perspective. I am like Kyle and he is like Cartman. It's sort of like that.

Thirdly, I recieved my housing statement for UNL. I will be on the 7th floor of Smith Hall. My roommate is from Lexington, the hick part of the state. I hope he's not a hick. Let's hope for the best. I have to move in on August 19th.

By the way, the answer to the question in the previous entry is A.
Astronomers study phenomena that span over 10^14 in time, and their instruments have increased in power by 10^10 in sensitivity and 10^12 in wavelength. That would be a factor of a hundred billion in sensitivity from the eye to the Hubble, a factor of a trillion over wavelengths, and a factor of a hundred trillion in cosmic time.
