today i went to Warsaw for only half of a day. strange feeling.
first of all, i saw these flags on the building of the National Concert Hall:

there are, among others, out of date flags of Georgia and Republic of South Africa... anyway, it is more proper than displaying a flag upside down [like in Consulate of Ecuador in Helsinki], i think.
i still don't know if i got a place in the dormitory, but i saw my name on an official list of doctorants, so now i can feel sure about this [it is always safer to see something than to hear it, at least for me].
during the few hours i spent in Warsaw i met accidentally Ela ρ. and Magda Ж. i boasted incidentally. she asked about my holidays. well, now i have one week[end] holiday. i will go to Piotrków to a youth lutheran meeting. good. i need it.
i bought "Volk" album by Laibach in a freshly renewed Empik shop.
near the palmtree i saw three posts of political parties - LiD [Left and Democrats], UPR [Real Politics Union] and new Partia Kobiet [Women's Party]. at the UPR post only one bald youngster staring at people coming to LiD's post, asking questions and signing lists. there is hope. ;) unfortunately, i couldn't sign their list, because i do not live in Warsaw and i can't vote there.
than i managed to find my father who left his mobile in Tomaszów and we came back home together.
