(no subject)
hey yall
Here's a quick update for all of ya. This weekend seems waaay too short. Probably because I'm a lazy bum and didn't do much homework today. Now I feel pressed for time and there's only sunday left to do everything. Oh well.
Today my dad and I went running at McNeil, and it wasn't so bad -- I listened to some muzak and all was good.
Then my dad and I went to that new Goodwill to see what was there, and It was CRAZY! first of all, it was huge. they have like 10 really long rows of tables set out, and each table has these huge boxes filled with stuff. its organized into two groups: clothes, and everything else. and yeah, the clothes aren't organized. the women, men, baby, and childrens are all mixed together. It could drive even the slobbiest of people to the brink of insanity. I found some t-shirts and a skirt, but we were only in there for about 30 minutes, and I was only glancing at the top of each pile for stuff. Man oh man. It was whack. But I guess its kinda exciting when after 10 minutes of digging you find something. You feel so accomplished.
AND my friends are so sweet!!! Lisa and Sitara came to my house and brought me cupcakes!!! I <3 you guys! and the cupcakes were so cute, and good! Woo I was so happy when they came!
Right now I'm writing some of my college essays. It's going ok I guess, I'm not anywhere near finished though. I was definetly alloting about 30 minutes per essay, but yeah the first one is taking a while.
Oh and I have a JOKE:
So a panda walks into a bar, sits down, and orders a sandwich. He eats the sandwhich, pulls out a shotgun, and shoots the waitress dead. Then the bartender shouts at the panda "HEY WHAT are you doing! You shot my waitress, AND you didn't pay for the sandwich!" and the panda says "Hey, man, I'm a freaking PANDA! Look it up!" SOOOO the bartender pulls out a dictionary (from his back pocket, OF course...) and looks up "Panda" only to find:
PANDA: a tree-dwelling marsupial of Asian origin, characterized by black and white coloring. Eats shoots and leaves.
HA! that was HILARIOUS!
