(no subject)
heya,
so, i WAS going to update with loverly pictures from the lake...but i stupidly left my camera at ann's house, and ann already posted pics.
the story: so we were going to go to blue hole, but it turns out that somebody dumped sewage in it or something, so it was closed to swimming. we ended up driving around georgetown about 10 times (ok thats a big exaggeration, but it makes for a good story) looking for somwhere to swim... so we went to lake georgetown. it was a fun, relaxing day -- just floated around and stuff. we found this huge rock and decided to move it to shore, which prolly took 30 minutes to do; we played monkey in the middle; we floated around, swam around, all the usual stuff. and then we drove back, and everyone was really quiet/tired. it was fun, it would have been all the better with more peoples there.
we listened to music on the way, a lot of country, which ive been getting into lately. ann gave me some songs, and we listened to a ton on the way to georgetown, and i even programmed one of my car buttons to kase! ohemgee!
and today i played tennis with my indian homie sitara, and it was pretty darn hot. i havent straightened my hair in a week because it would be pointless -- it takes 30 minutes to straighten it, and then i go play tennis and get all sweaty, and have to wash it, so it would be a complete waste of time. but i did straighten it for sitara's party. and it was loverly and thin. ok, not THAT thin...
and yesterday i went to tuesday night double's league, and it was fuhunn -- i got to play on court one with some pretty good people, and it was challenging and i loved it.
and today i went to piano and im learning even more of my piece. its a schubert piece, i dun remember the name, but its amazing, its so moving...well actually it sounds pretty sucky right now because i havent learned all the dynamics and i havent "phrased" it, and ive only learned the first page, but hopefully i'll be able to play it as well as my teacher.
