we could have fun on the outside but i can't stay too long
Yesterday it was around 42 degrees and I was out in it. Weather like that is not fun at all. However, I did escape it for a while by seeing It's Complicated, in which I was simultaneously watching Alec Baldwin in a kind of awed daze and being thoroughly freaked out by his chest hair.
The way I managed to keep myself chirpy at work yesterday evening IN AN UN-AIR CONDITIONED BUILDING, GRR was by thinking of this video with Kelly and Simon from Misfits:
I've watched it way too many times and yet I still laugh. Simon's youtube channel is pure gold.
Funnily enough, I've never looked at Twitter before and never took an interest in Facebook when I actually had an account, but because of Misfits I've been reading pretty much every character's twitter... thing, checked out Simon and Superhoodie's Facebooks and went through a bit of Alisha's tumblr (or whatever it's called). It's like suddenly I succumbed to technology just because I really enjoy this show and have a crush on a 'weird kid' fictional character.
I'm going to continue rambling on about Misfits because I can. I was trying to work out whether I shipped any of the characters. I'm pretty sure I love Alisha/Curtis, but that's canon and I don't know. I normally don't stick to just what's canon.
I'm currently confused between whether I like Nathan/Kelly or Simon/Kelly more. I adore everything that Kelly and Nathan say or do together, but I melt, just a little, whenever Kelly is nice to Simon or suchlike. Nathan/Simon may be trying to creep onto my radar as well. I might have to investigate whether there's any Misfits fanfiction.
Anyway. I'll work something out. Or else become a mad multi-shipper like I am with Merlin.
Speaking of Merlin, I'm happily working away at a couple of prompt replies for the kink meme. I somehow think- for one particularly- that I will never deanon. It would be too embarrassing. Then again, it'd probably be easy enough to pick which prompts I'm interested in doing. My mastery of secretive behaviour needs some work.
