Odd Dream...
I had the oddest dream this morning...
I'd woken up an hour before my alarm was to go off, went to the bathroom, then went back to bed.

But then I couldn't sleep. After a few minutes, I noticed it start to get really cold. And then I was hearing odd footsteps, coming from the next room over, but entirely too heavy for the carpet. I was hit by a sense of fright that kept me from just reaching up to turn off the ceiling fan - the most I could do was tuck my feet under the covers. And then there were odd multi-color lights coming from around the door and odd muffled sounds.
After a few fearful minutes, I suddenly realized that everything was probably just the tv on in the other room, and I faded into a dreamless sleep.

When my alarm went off and I woke up for real, it was obvious that 1) I only actually become paralyzed with fear in my dreams, and I certainly would have turned off my ceiling fan if I'd really been awake, and 2) The tv obviously wasn't on in the other room when I went to the bathroom.
I'm just struck by how odd it was to have a dream that started out with having trouble sleeping and ended with falling asleep...
