Okay, really that's as far as I got. This songwriting stuff is harder than I thought. One more thing to cross off my un-life list.
The whole point is it must have been way harder to be an olden-time vamp when people were more likely to be waving around gold crosses than gold cards. Now the worst obstacle we have to hurdle is the ravening hordes of last minute shoppers. But hey, what that really means for us is meals on wheels at all hours of the day or night. Bonus! Merry Christmas to me. Not that I don't leave them laughing. 'Tis the season, after all. Draining people dry just seems so…bah humbug, you know?
I was actually a little nervous entering my first big holiday season as a vamp, but aside from the canned carols piped in from Thanksgiving to New Years that are enough to gag me with a silver spoon, it all seems to be about tinseled trees and those candelabra thingies, hats and shoes and electronics and SALE, SALE, SALE.
Sorry, got excited there for a minute. Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is enjoy the season! Shop 'til you drop! I certainly plan to.
