I was glad to be back because the daily trips I had to take were beginning to become real bothersome, but for some reason I felt odd, and I don't know why. Something felt wrong, and I just don't know what it is. And whenever I think I know what it is, I feel stupid, rationalize it out, and then the feeling changes but won't go away. Freaking annoying is what it is.
Lightning struck a tree bordering my dad's driveway. It peeled away the ground from the base of the tree and split the tree a bit. It's cool. You can see where the grass burned and the tree, but the tree didn't catch fire. And bark was "shattered" like 50 feet away. Amazing, shook the house. Lit up the rooms.
