Hey you!! Wow, I'm so excited you were inspired to write/share this! This fandom needs more... well, fic in general, but Kalicia is my special favorite at the moment, so it pleases me this is where your attentions went.:)

And this was so lovely and made me feel so bittersweet for the days when we could just ASSUME Kalinda's allowances/favors/attentions for and for Alicia were motivated only by friendship and affection, because this fic was so indicative of that. With Kalinda, small things mean a LOT. The handholding and the giving up her privacy and of course the kiss made me swoon a lot. *sigh* My lovely girls. It makes me happy to think of them happy.

And Kalinda offering to fetch the secretary for a cuddle and this line in particular: “I’m an excellent lesbian, Mr Lloyd.": Instant Kalinda classics. Kudos for that.

Ooooh, a comment from the author of my favorite Kalicia fic of ALL TIME EVER. *bows respectfully* I am very honored!!

Yep, this was definitely meant as a throwback to that lovely time when (vague SPOILER alert for 2x17) the most obvious explanation for Kalinda's attitude to Alicia was that she had developed a soft spot for her the size of Alaska.
