I was on the PoetryFoundation looking through some random poetry only to stumble upon an article called "The Imaginative Man" by Laura C. Mallonee. It's description sparked my interest which is as follows: "C.S. Lewis’s first love was poetry, and it enabled him to write the prose for which he is remembered." I read through the essay and found it to be an insightful treat in regards to C.S. Lewis' "imaginative man" that lived inside him. I have not read as much C.S. Lewis as I would prefer so maybe when I find some time I can A. look up his poetry just to see and B. read some more of his critiques and prose.
For those of you who are curious, even if just a little, about the article here is the
link. It was a fairly quick read and interesting to boot. Oh the things I learn about people I thought I knew about. Always a fantastic surprise.
