Phones Can't Swim (and other things I really ought to know by now)

They don't offer water proof phones at AT&T. If things keep going the way they've been, I may need to pack up and move to a provider that does offer them. I have drowned 2 phones in 2 weeks. The first phone miraculously started functioning - slightly - after I got done murdering the 2nd phone, but it won't charge, it eats through a full battery in less than 24 hours on standby, and the outside screen is toast. I found my really old phone and discovered that the battery fits in my 1st (and 2nd) phone, but not the other way around, so I can charge the old battery with my old phone. Unfortunately, I can't actually use my really old phone as a phone because it won't turn on - it only charges the battery. So for now I'm going to charge the old battery in the old phone at night and then put it in the 1st phone during the day and hope that I don't need it when it finally gives up the ghost. And since I don't have a normal alarm clock - I just used my phone until this past weekend - I'm using my wifes phone to wake me up in the morning.

Anyone got a working phone they don't need?
