Sorry it took so long, but I'm finally back from the afterlife. That was the weirdest trip I've ever been on. I think I can get off the ship at this city.

As for me, I'm fine. Except for the fact I've been wandering through an underground maze beneath Junk City for over a week with Ryuudamon, a giant, transforming alien robot, and his partner, who's a loud-mouthed, very large, very yellow, armadillo.

Every time I try to stick my head above ground a patrol tries to blow it off.

So. Me? I'm dandy.

You've been under Junk City all this time? It's been weeks.

Pay? ...you know, if I knew that, things would've been a hell of a lot easier. They accept cash, or credit?

Yeah, Ryuudamon's my partner. He has this thing about... "destiny," and whatnot, and keeps talking like I'm some sort of samurai.

As for the robot? Yeah. Alien. Thought he was a bugged out mechaniloid at first, but he's too smart for that, and not a reploid. Comes from a planet called "Cybertron," and calls himself an Autobot. There's another faction of them called Decepticons, apparently, and the way he talks it kinda reminds me of...

Well, lets say, from what I gather? The Autbots would be sorta like us Hunters, at least so far as being "good robots" goes. The Decepticons would be Mavericks, essentially.

...weeks? No, it's pretty easy to lose track of time down here, but... only been a week here.

And I didn't do anything except try to defend myself. Now all of a sudden I'm wanted.

I don't think she accepts either, really... It was weird. Everyone on the crew had to pay, but she accepted different things from everyone. ...She took raw weapons-grade plasma out of my arm as payment.

Samurai? Well, you are a swordsman...

...You get aliens. I get ancient goddesses and the literal End of the World. Just our luck, huh? At least they're not evil goddesses and aliens.

They attacked you for no reason? And there's no way for you to slip out of the city?

...nope. Only a week. Well, okay, maybe a week and a couple of days, but that's about it.

Like I said, I was defending myself! ...though. I guess... their programming might've taken me waving my saber around at them as a threat. Possibly. They're really primitive.

...Some kind of time discontinuity, perhaps. I remember the weeks passing quite clearly. I know I didn't have nearly enough rum for it to affect me.

...yeah, this place is just getting weirder by the second.

...AFTER they shot at me. Or. Shot rockets in my general vicinity that they were shooting at the alien that I destroyed. Hell, they were going to hit me, too.

Well, looks like I may just have to go save you this time.

Well, it's kind of hard when they try to shoot at me every time I go above ground. They're not Mavericks, and all of these Digimon seem to be independent lifeforms despite the way these guys act, so... I can't just DESTROY them, tempting though that is. So I need to find a way out from DOWN HERE, if possible.

As soon as Veemon and I figure out a way down from Tetha, we'll set off for Junk City.

Good luck with that. It's apparently this Chaosdramon guy in charge, and if you saw him on the channels earlier? He doesn't seem too friendly.

...Maybe there's some kind of transportation system between cities. ...Though, I'd rather not have to stay on this ship any longer, unless it's the only way to get there faster than walking.

That's probably a good idea, though. There's no telling who else is roaming around out there.

From what I've gathered, there's these things called "lightposts" that connect one place to another. The catch?

You've got to have BEEN to that place first.

'Lightposts' huh? Well, that's something of a hassle. But maybe I can find someone here who's already been there. Or, at least has been somewhere closer than here.

I'll ask around. If that doesn't pan out, maybe that Kyon kid would know another fast way there. He's been in this city before.
