[Rydia stares, then rushes over. She doesn't need the numbers to tell her that the man's in need of help, though glancing to the various status messages below them. Ignoring her music, she accesses her inventory and...good, she still has plenty of those. Putting away the menu, she withdraws the Remedy and rolls him over, pouring it down his throat.]

[well this is a slightly different taste, but he can tell that it's similar to what they have back home. And those status effects will be disappearing!

...Unfortunately he's now sitting up and coughing because he almost choked]

[Rydia helps him to sit up, an apologetic look as he coughs. As was customary for the past few days, her words were repeated in a transparent blue text box, with white letters.]

Sorry about that, but I lack the proper spells to lift all those ailments. A Remedy was the only way, that I had available. What happened to you?

[another deep breath and he's more or less fine. Still low on health though so he isn't completely recovered]

Thanks for the help. Not sure what exactly happened but I'm guessin' those Malnosso people used me as a lab rat of a kind.

[Rydia frowns and nods, looking the man over and then reaching into her satchel again. She pulls out a Hi-Potion and hands it to him.]

Here, this should help. I've heard of that happening, but I haven't found anyone just after such an ordeal until now.

[She shakes the hand briefly and smiles, glad for her good timing and that he seems to be doing better. Glancing to the HP bar prompts her to withdraw another potion, but she won't be as forceful as she was with the Remedy.]

Don't worry about it, really. Just pass on the favor if you find anyone else in your state. Given what we go through in this place, it only makes sense to look out for each other.

...gels? Well, as long as it works, right? I'm not a natural healer by any stretch, that's why I was lucky enough to have a decent supply when I arrived. Where do you live now, is it far?

Wish I had a supply of my own, though I know a trick ta help with some light healing. [TP is 0 however and therefore cannot use the Godly awesome healing skill known as Love Shot :|]

That must be helpful. I've only just started learning healing from one of the spirits around here, so hopefully that will restore what I've lost. I'd prefer not to rely on items, more than I must. It's my goal to learn from the other spirits too, when I can.

A few, yes. The ones I've met are affiliated with an element, and they sometimes teach their magic. It isn't as powerful as the magic I know back home, but it can still be useful.

Huh...fancy that. Recently made some spirits back where I'm from, but don't know if they could teach us magic. Just kinna learn it and manipulated the aer with formulas.

What're these spirits like?

It depends on the particular spirit, they vary drastically. The healing spirit as well as the wind spirit are quite friendly and it's easy to learn from them. However, the earth spirit is very timid an the fire spirit...well, he's impulsive and prickly. Unless you already have an affinity to fire, you're probably out of luck on that one. There are more, as well.

[She pauses and tilts her head.]
