It's raining!

What a suprise, it's raining again. Bleh. The red and black currants in front of our building need SUN god damn it! If it would be sunny for the rest of the week they would be about ripe next week. The Student Housing Foundation has been generous and planted some currant bushes on our front yard, and the tenants can pick them freely. There are also some gooseberry bushes but they will take at least two weeks to ripe. The blueberry situation in the forest looks grim because of the early summer frosts but I wouldn't be up to any blueberry picking anyway.

We were at Mari's cabin on the weekend. It was just great, I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard and sincerely. We ate a lot of good food, fortunately André enjoys cooking outside work as well, heh heh. We also ate a lot of 'non-food', and let's just say I don't think I want to see any candy for the rest of the year.... Cub and Lisa played together and made a total mess in the play house. Linnea is now 3 months old and she smiles and coos at people. She's now going through a phase what I call 'I love that man'. At some point all babies I've met can't help but stare at hubby. Their eyes catch him and follow him where ever he goes. Lisa especially loved him, she always wanted to go to his lap when she saw him. It was so cute. We even went swimming though the water was freezing cold. I can't remember when sea water has been so cold in late July but the sauna was hot enough to warm us up.

Hubby went back to work today. He wasn't very excited about it, heh heh. Next week Cub will go to kindergarten and I will start my 4th economics course. I hope my brains will be up to it. Lately I've felt they have melted away. When I'm browsing the forums I can't think of anything witty or even smart to say. Not that I've ever been that witty or smart but...oh what the hell.
