I took my portfolio in to NSCAD (Nova Scotia Academy of Art and Design-- the nearby art school, basically), because I've been wanting to transfer to something or someplace that will allow me to take a studio art course. I only wanted to get it reviewed-- applications aren't due until March, after all. I expected to be told things like, 'well this part is good, but when you apply you should think about adding some works that show [x] and [x] and [x]', and then be sent back home with perhaps a parting 'good luck, hope to see you apply :D'.
Instead, the head of the Foundation Program told me that based on my portfolio, when I do apply I don't need to submit one because... basically, I'm in. On the spot. Sooo pretty much all I have to do is fill out the application form, hand in my transcripts for transfer credits, and keep my average above a C and... I'm in. ._.

(but it's hella cool anyway :D Hello there, ego, haven't seen you in awhile...)
Note: Clover, I didn't answer my cell due to being in lecture (in case you didn't get my email by the time you see this XD). And no, this does not mean I will give up on applying to somewhere in Toronto. (Probably not Sheridan, alas, because my mum's condition for continuing to pay my tuition is that I get a Bachelor's degree in SOMETHING, and Sheridan is a college and does not offer degrees. Woe. ): )
