Kids these days

"I work with a guy who is married and has a five-year-old son. His family traveled to meet another family -- with a little boy of the same age -- at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. One of the highlights for the boys was an exhibit of baby penguins. It was around the time that Happy Feet was released.

Anyhow, they're walking around the museum, and the other couple suddenly starts to freak out because their kid is gone. They spend about a half hour frantically running around, trying to find him, and they end up locating him in the Happy Feet exhibit. They are so furious that they decide to leave the museum and make the two-hour drive home right there and then.

When they arrive home, the parents send the son to his room so he can "think about what he's done". They tell him he can come out when he's ready to talk about what happened. About forty minutes goes by, and they decide to go into his room and see what's up.

They find him sitting on the floor by his empty backpack, playing with a baby penguin."
