Everything around him was white; bedsheets, bed, room--
Wait. Waaaiiit. This wasn't Gurren-Lagann or the open sky, this was...a white room.
Kamina frowned
He had been sitting on the floor, crosslegged, his hands resting on his knees as he stared at the room around him. How had he ended up here? There was a dream, a dream of seeing Yoko and Simon and everyone again and then--pow! Knocked out he was, and left for dead on the purple-esque shag carpet of the floor that he was now sitting on. Kamina's brow furrowed.
It didn't make any sense. None at all, and he didn't like it, not one bit.
The Gurren-Lagann commander stood, his red cape sailing out behind him with a flourish. He reached into his pocket and flicked out a pair of orange triangular sunglasses, putting them on and staring at his reflection in a small mirror.
It had been a long time since he had seen himself like this.
That fateful night he had given up everything for the victory of his brigade. He left his brother, his love, and all of the people who so adored him...just for a victory.
But the cause; the cause was higher than himself. Humanity deserved freedom, especially from those blasted Beastmen, that stupid Spiral King...among others. And because of that, he had been willing to let go.
Slowly, but surely, his cheekbones rose, his eyes brightened; and a grin, showing glistening white teeth shining bright against tan skin, appeared on his face,
Kamina turned about, his hand on the doorknob. Time to face the day.
In reviewing your application, while the strengths and weaknesses as well as the samples seem to look okay... we are not entirely sure that the personality is up to snuff, mostly because it is short. We understand that Kamina is a relatively straightforward character, but we would like to see a little more in that department. So that we can keep standards, you understand.
As such: If you could please reply to this comment with an expanded/revised personality section then we feel we might be able to more properly judge your application.
