[reserved] Ienzo 2/? dorked June 4 2009, 04:08:50 UTC
-- ope. Age is 16. /forgot to add that.

Weaknesses: Physically, Ienzo is not very strong at all. He's very average, as he never was one for sports and other such activities, opting for more casual practices. While fairly thin, he lacks a lot of muscle, meaning that it wouldn't take much to overpower him. When running, he has an average stamina as well; he could probably go for a while, but wouldn't be able to outrun someone who is better trained. Similarly, he lacks any real fighting skill, his only means of defense being his limited illusions, which really can't do much.

Mentally, there are times when Ienzo does become wary, even uncertain. He may be determined, but he isn't always confident, which often allows others to step all over him or push him to do things that aren't always for the best. Xehanort especially seems to push him in this way, as well as Even. This isn't to say that he's easy to trick, but there are times when his politeness and soft spoken behavior get the best of him.

Though not quite as much of a weakness, he isn't the most skilled socially, especially when it comes to those in his age group.

Interesting information: * Ienzo is very proper. He sits up straight, tries not to put his elbows on tables when eating, and ensures that he is well-dressed at all times. Unless there's a need he'll usually refrain from interrupting others when they speak, and even then he often says 'Excuse me' rather than barging into a conversation uninvited. If he doesn't know someone, he'll refer to them as 'sir' or 'miss', and even then he may still refer to them similarly once he's well acquainted with them (e.g. "Miss Kairi", that sorta thing).

* Despite having long bangs that often get in the way, he refuses to cut them, opting to push them out of his face instead.

* He is actually a bit nearsighted and will usually wears glasses, such as when he's reading, although he can see somew well without them, just without all the fine details.

* Ienzo likes long sleeves, and you'll seldom ever see him wearing short-sleeved attire, or sleeveless. He also wears long pants as well; really, the only skin showing is his head and hands.

* Ienzo either ways really fancy clothes or really plain clothes. When he's not at a formal occasion he prefers to wear plain, white tops, usually collared, and slacks, though he does sometimes wear jeans. When at a formal gathering he'll wear something a bit more appropriate, such as a dress-shirt, occasionally a tie (though he prefers not to). Usually in the case of shoes he'll wear boots of some kind, though he may wear laced-shoes, but it's rare.

* He has a tendency to stay up late reading or studying...and then fall asleep during the day as a result. This isn't always the case, but usually his sleeping schedule has many variations. In fact, it isn't common for him to fall asleep with a book in his hand.

* Often times he'll carry quite a load; for example, he may be carrying a large stack of books, or lab equipment, even if it's a bit much.

* Ienzo is also very clumsy, especially when carrying the aforementioned loads. He has a tendency to trip if he's not too careful.

* Moreso than men, Ienzo is very awkward around the opposite sex, though he actually does enjoy the company of most women.

* He doesn't watch television.

Character journal post:(This is an old sample from the previous Vards)

This certainly isn't what I expected; actually, to suddenly appear on a strange, if not enormous ship seems improbable to begin with. A pity too, as I was in the middle of making an important decision, although I suppose it will have to wait.

Apparently I'm here due to a contract, but I'm afraid I don't recall ever signing one. Perhaps this is some mistake, as, you see, I have work to do, and I'd rather not be scolded by Even yet again for being late... and I wouldn't want to disappoint Master Ansem either.

...Though if I'm stuck here, this certainly is a bother.

Log post: It had been this way for a while. Despite all of the progress on the research of the heart, despite the immense efforts of the apprentices, and despite what had once been an enthusiastic response from Ansem the Wise, everything had come to a standstill. The past few tests had been disastrous, and Ansem himself had become wary. No longer did he encourage his disciples to press on and uncover the mysteries locked within the heart, and no longer did he himself wish to find out. Everything had changed, and not everyone welcomed this change, especially Xehanort.

And then came Ienzo. The research was crucial to him. He was dedicated to uncovering the mysteries just like his colleagues, any opportunity to gain knowledge was one he would take under most circumstances, but this predicament was an odd one. Xehanort wished to proceed, while Ansem himself did not. This left him in a difficult position, one between his loyalty to his master and his yearning for knowledge. Needless to say, it was more than a little overwhelming.

In order to distract himself from this conflict of loyalties Ienzo simply relocated to the library. For several hours he had been reading now, piles of books upon books scattered all over one of the tables. He had already plowed through a good portion of the science section and was now skimming through various historical texts. It was fascinating, very much so, but even with this temporary distraction reading could not erase the bigger conflict. No, he knew that eventually he and his colleagues would have to make a decision, one which bore numerous risks…

For what could happen if they made a mistake? What if the darkness of the heart was too much to control? One step in the wrong direction could lead to potential disasters, and so, as he read, Ienzo silently pondered over this. What to do…
