The sons of Fëanor are nothing of what they once were. They bowl with palantíri and run about like lunatics but lost their fangs somewhere between melodramatic suicides, Mandos and resurrection.

But this has little to do with you, mother dear. Only with the man sprawled over the hall carpet at the moment.
