INXS
Last night Lina calls me up at like 345 and says, "hey I have an extra ticket for the INXS show tonight in NY, want to go?" I'm like yeah of coarse, this is where being friends with someone that is in the industry counts. I love it see Lina works for Sony Records and specifically their Epic Records Label and she is the personal rep to INXS, so fucking cool yah!!!
So after the gym I run home get ready, Lina calls me back, dude last bus leaves Caldwell at 730 sharp show starts at 845. Ok so I skip showering just muff my hair up change bath in deodorant and get ready and fly fly to the bus. I lucked out though and Doug had just stopped by as I was still dressing to get Jay Goods Bearded Dragon I was sitting for the weekend. Doug wanted to talk and hang I said I couldn't then got him to give me a ride to the bus stop by Paneras. I catch the bus on my way to the city, get into Port Authority at like 821. Lina is right there to get me we take the A train and get to 65th to where the show is. Hot hot hot!!!
Inside tons of famous people cause it was a semi private show hosted by Sony and its affiliates. I loved it, we got to our seats after stopping in backstage to see the guys but it was a closed greenroom. Show was fucking awesome, rocked my socks off, I forgot how much I enjoy INXS but what was funny is that all the old stuff still sounded new and fresher than I though just a new lead singer could bang out. Their new album… cheep plug… "INXS The Switch"… will rock. Their new shit is hot as hell. I got to ask Lina all these questions about them
JD was so fucking hot from our seats and the lighting. What's my point? Well Lina even said wait till after the show Jarrett I want you to meet him, JD. So backstage we go and there before is a guy that is like 98 pounds 6 1 and well just not impressive at all. In fact, he smokes a lot cigs and other stuff, and he has crows feet something bad, and it's true camera ads ten pounds to you cause his healthy looking weight he had on the INXS show was just that ten pounds of camera added. He has that whole heroine sheik thing going on hahahaha. Well he was just a normal guy, that needed makeup and primping. I realized this is why I'm never phased by mega stars, they are just people like us covered up and lighting. It's so funny. I have always known this but damn I looked better than him last night. Nice guy and I got a weird look but that is cause he know Lina's boyfriend so he probably though there was hanky panky going down, but all in all a great nice Canadian boy. Just not worth fucking at all in my book hahahaha. Anyway, I have been inspired, I am going to go back to black deep jet black with the hair. I'm going to attempt the straightening again, headed to Harmon's after work, and I think its time to don the go-t but thin like and what would you guys think of the jaw line beard thing ???

In other news, I have a wonderful dinner planned with my loves Valerie and Kathy. Ricardo my gap model friend is cooking us some Portuguese dinner at my place. What a wonderful night. Rest of the week is busy as hell. I have to get Roy tomorrow after work he is spending the night and I will bring him home on Thursday after karate class with Ken and Greg. More news, John Snyder called me and wants to drop by on Thursday. I'm ok with this only cause Ken and Greg and Jen will be around so whatever, I did have him as a roommate just whatever Ill see what the fuck he wants. Friday I am seeing Final Destination 3 with Drew, Drew is a cool cat nice kid into horror movies so I'm down. Oh remember when I said I'm pretty sure I want to back to the Rock start diet, Ie. Coke, ciggs, and no food??? I think I'm going to experiment with this. Hahahaha it's time to rock star myself out all over again. I just have my second wind, I get to be 17 all over again but single and not worrying about Eric or his feelings or what he is doing. There is a certain sense of sanity to freedom and a certain sense of purpose to do now what I wanted to do then, but now I know better. Funny how life's lessons get you on a track of purpose, and for anyone debating if I'm going to make it threw today as it is officially or would have been ten years today Eric and I started to date, my reaction what better reason to celebrate then my freedom and what better way to move forward then with three semi dates with three wonderful men technically four I have to see my pal PL he is owed a night of shopping and watching me buy my new razor phone :) hahahaha sweet.
