Thought I should post some song for the night (or morning actually...), but since I have already used one of political song-videos, you will get many songs for the night.
First you need to know some information to understand more of what I'm gonna talk about.
Long story short - here's a stolen explanation from another blog:
The name "Party of liars and thieves" got really stuck to "United Russia", well suppose for a reason, and got spread all around the country.
This Autumn A. Navalny (read above) suggested a competition among songs inviting people to Parliament elections and to vote against party of liars and thieves.
I personally feel glad Russia has so many talented people and used such a creative way to express their political views. I'm sure these works have an effect.
I'll post here my favorite of the videos against Party of Liars and Thieves, though I liked them all, people got really involved into the situation and all have some good ideas and many - strong texts.
Funny (if not too sad) fact, not only common people got used to associating of United Russia with Party of liars and thieves, but the party itself did. Even some arrests started happening and posters against liars and thieves recognized as posters against United Russia (LOL)!
