Hey, Texas.

[ Burch is wandering around with a rifle on his back, looking to be in some kind of hurry. Whatever he was about to say was lost when he sees the man reading what looks to be a very non-western-themed book. ]

What the hell are you doin'?

"Plotting revenge.

You?"

Really? [ He sounds very interested. ]

I was just gonna go find someone who owes me something, but I think I like your idea better. Who's the target?

[vaquero_tex]

"Bram Stocker. killed off one of mine for no reason."

[grizzlyland]

[ The excitement quickly dries up and is replaced by confusion. ]

Who the hell is that?

[vaquero_tex]

"Man who wrote this book."
He held up the offending item.

[grizzlyland]

[ Burch slowly leans forward towards the book and then suddenly plucks it from Texas's hand. ]

Dracula? [ He sends Texas a questioning look. ] You losin' your marbles already, old man?

"'course not.

He killed off one of mine for no reason, an' he needs to rethink his ways."

All right. [ He hands the book back. ]

This is an old book, right? I bet the guy's dead. What are ya gonna do? Find one of his to kill off? That ain't right.

[vaquero_tex]

"What? Shit. Now what tha hell 'm ah gonna do?"

[grizzlyland]

I don't know. [ Smirks. ]

Piss on his house or something? Oh, shit! Piss on the book!

[vaquero_tex]

He grinned even wider.
"How 'bou' I burn it?"

[grizzlyland]

Burning's good! I gotta bunch of shit to help it burn. We could make a big, uhm, what'dya say...? Production! A big production of it.

Want me to get my shit? We could build a bonfire or--well, it's up to you.

[vaquero_tex]

"Damn straight it's good. You get your stuff, I'll bring this, an' we'll have a right proper bonfire goin' in no time."

[grizzlyland]

Right! I'll be outside! [ With that, Burch takes off down the hall for his own room. He packs as many flammable things he can carry and is wandering outside, looking for kindling, in no time. ]

He nodded shortly, scooping up his book and marching off to see if there are any others like it...
and some beer. Beer is always good with a bonfire.
