Rumors of My Death = Exaggeration

Yes. It's me. I'm back. And posting at fudge o'clock in the morning 'cos I took a nap earlier. (If you had to know.)
Short answer as to why I was away for so long: didn't think anyone really cared about what's up in my life. No, I don't intend to sound like an attention ho when I said that. XD I really figured you guys would hear everything from me if you wanted to.
Reasons for coming back: I realized my reason for leaving was somewhat flawed (there are those of you I don't keep in touch with via email or any other medium, etc.); and I wanted to. :P
Now that you have that down.
Things here are alright. This has been, I think, my longest and busiest semester here. The good news is that I'm fairly on track with the thesis. It should be done on time. : ] The hardest parts are done, I think; certainly the theory-heavy chapter is. I'm giving background now. It's been fun, and I'm not joking.
Other things that have been going on:
I got an A on a Greek test. Wth? (I studied, and apparently Sophocles isn't as difficult as Thucydides. WHO THE HECK KNEW. Hee.)
I got a C on a Latin test. WTH?!?! (Third of three different foreign language tests in one day; had pulled an all-nighter the night before; the class isn't great, and the test was even less great. Or even more not great. Depending on how much litotes you like. Either way, I didn't finish it. Oh, bum.)
NEW SEASON OF DOCTOR WHO. HECK YES. Am liking new companion. Am licking liking Doctor. Doctor Who is 4 haf fun tiem wit friens.
After a brief foray onto other servers in World of Warcraft, have gone back to playing my dwarf paladin. She's so much fun. I've missed her. ^__^
Have decided that if I were to date anyone from Ancient Greece or Rome, it would be Martial. Ovid is a close second. Mmmmm Roman poets. (This was not a random decision. It was a random conversation. Sparked by cordilleran2's claims of undying love for Aspasia and the Empress Theodora. Good luck with the swans, dear. You'll find a use for the feathers, at least.)
Cannot believe I just said that. Procopius ftw. Moving on.
Am trying not to think about the fact that I still have two papers not related to my thesis to complete before the semester is out. GAH.
And bagls is doing just fine, minus some allergies and pretty much the entirety of the William & Mary Education Department. He's growing his beard back. Partially because I wanted it back. He looks fine without it, but I think it makes him look older. :D Right now, it's not fully grown in, so he's kind of porcupiney. Ow.
There's other stuff going on, but that's pretty much all I care to talk about right now. It's more than enough for now, anyway. XD
