I keep meaning to update here, but then I remember that during the summer nothing goes on, especially when I'm not working. So, digging into the things that I don't find amusing I will attempt to talk about the things that might be remotely interesting.
- I started my Mass Communication class at the local community college. Needless to say, my professor is a bit of a nutjob. As in, he pimped out his children's e-book to us. And has an obsession with everything we make in a project being made by us including visuals. You know, things we don't really have time for considering the duration of the class. Luckily, it's over next week.
- There was a new Muse single. And a whole lot of other awesome Muse things. All I will say is this, "MAI BBS GIVE ME ALL THE 2ND LAW FEELINGS".
- I took a trip downstate to the very unexciting state capitol. Well, it wasn't horrifically unexciting so much as there was nothing to do after 5 PM down there. I did, however, get to stay in a haunted mansion for two nights. I never saw a ghost, but I was terribly unsettled to go near the "haunted room" or really be inside the place at night.
- My uncle went into the hospital and scared the pants off all of us. He had to have surgery, and has since been released back to his home where he continues to be his usual stubborn, sarcastic self, but he's feeling better much to all my family's collective relief.
- The Olympics start tomorrow and I'm really stoked because swimming on TV. And Muse's song being the theme song of the Olympics.
- Also, Lollapalooza in a week. I just really like music festivals. Just check out this line-up.
It took me two days to write this post. Clearly my life is uneventful if it took me that long to scrounge up some exciting details.
