In which I blargh
So, last Wednesday, out of nowhere, my sinuses just opened up on me. Figured it was allergies, popped an allergy med, grabbed a box of tissues, and thought nothing of it. Thursday or so, it dropped into my chest. Some coughing, irritating, but not bad. Lots more coughing over night, kept jenn and I from sleeping well. Saturday, while were out and about at Fenner Nature Center in Lansing, pulling the wildly invasive garlic mustard, the hacking went from clearish mucus, to dark green. Made camping that night for our fire vigil rough. On the other hand, it did wake me up and let me keep the fire from going out, so the fire did make it through the entire night, yay fire!
Sunday was good. My voice was hit or miss, but I managed to get through our ritual ok (Outsiders offering; main offering to Perkūnas, blessing of the Waters). Came home, and we made it an early night. I slept sitting up most of the night, and I got a lot more restful sleep than I had the previous couple of nights. Jenn, sadly, was not so lucky, and was up every hour or so, when I woudl cough (which I mostly slept through). I've gone back to clearish mucus, but I am still going to go to redi-med after work. This cough is not cooperating, and I'd feel better getting that taken care of.
