Short babble about stuff I'm watching...
Cost for a round-trip flight from Chicago to Buenos Aires is $1333. Yup, that's not happening anytime soon.
Oh, hush, I was just curious. Definitely not serious about any sort of trip plan there. =P
Went to the movie store today and picked up the third disk of Season 1 of Las Vegas and Friday Night Lights (which I somehow managed to miss when it first came out, weird because sports movies are totally up there on my list of entertainment).
Anyway, watched the episode "The Strange Life of Bob" of Las Vegas (the episode with You Know Who guest starring) and proceeded to dissolve into a giggle fit so severe that I'm pretty sure I wasn't breathing at one point. That boy sure can dance around like a suave dork and still manage to shake those hips. Definitely rewound that scene a few times. Poor amnesia Bob though...*pout*
The show is otherwise decent enough, I saw few episodes of the second season (I think) but it didn't hook me enough to want to see every single episode.
Friday Night Lights knocked me on my freaking rear! It's already on order from Amazon. Did that in the middle of watching the movie even. I think the reason I missed this one was because it came out while I was still living in the dorm and therefore no where near a movie rental place or decent theater. Sports movies always get me, man. Was totally on the edge of my seat there at the end. The heartbreak of it definitely reminded me of what it was like to watch our Illini boys go down hard in the final last year. Football, baseball, and basketball movies...love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. Really liked the documentary feel of FNL. Will definitely be watching it again in the future. The CK appearance did make me snort.
Now just have to watch 'Into the West' which is waiting here for me. Only saw a couple hours of it while it was on TV. Finally getting around to watching the whole thing now.
