I have no idea how I missed the first part yesterday but I did! Gah. And now that I've read both parts, I'm a little bit broken because I just keep staring and going "OMG, get back together, Pockets!"

Seriously, I was blinking back tears when Kris thought of how Katy's not his girl anymore in the first part and then this entire half - it started with laughter but you just knew it wouldn't end that way. Then when he tells her to move on...*flails*

Yeesh, I'm probably overly invested in this, lol. But I'm so glad they worked it out. And I keep wondering if this mission that he's going to go on is going to be the one where he got the disease and almost dies because, hey, way to have a slap to the face in not pushing away the girl you want.

I can't wait for the one you're doing for Be My Lady. :)

Every time I read this as it was a work in progress, it broke my heart, and yet, I can't help but read it again. And yeah, it still breaks my heart. It's so beautiful. I want to slap Kris silly in it, but, I know he's still figuring stuff out. He's just a stupid kid, but still, I just want to shake him and say, "What are you doing????"

I love the way you give us a light into the fun and silly times they had, though, at the beginning. It reminds us why it's so heartbreaking that things are so broken right now.

I cannot wait to read Be My Lady, to see Kris finally get his head screwed on straight over this stuff!

Yeah. They talked around it an interview when neither one of them could really remember why they didn't go to her prom together. Silly Pockets.

I like to imagine that part with her saying "Hug!" in a bouncy kid-like voice, which is totally how I think she would say it. :D
