About correlation & causality & neat circles & whether or not I like the current Lexie. About breakups and how they offer such beautiful opportunities. About individuality & the teen fashion sense. About creativity & how I have not lost mine, but I apply it in ways most people wouldn't think of as creative. About cars & public transit & the fact that even though I know riding the bus is more ecologically responsible (& gives me excellent time to ponder), I choose not to whenever possible. About how the presence/absence (or illusion) of choice changes our decisions. About our passions & how weird it is to come across something that you were once passionate about, but have since mellowed over, & the ensuing crisis over whether passion or moderation is superior regarding that topic, & whether you have progressed & matured on the topic or just retrogressed. About reaching for words and not finding them (I can never find the word crepuscular when I'm looking for it). About privacy & introspection & how nice it is to think again (second thoughts!). About posture. About the natural course a relationship can take. About dolling--remember that?--and how we break things into intermediate versions (dolling is intermediate art) & how rare it is to advance into something that hasn't been pre-processed, and how that's deliciously OK. About hiccups & the fact that I've been having them more recently, which was what got me on correlation, because I was wondering if there was a factor that is correlated to hiccups that I can control, to "reduce the odds." About my dad. About communication & how it preserves our thoughts, & about how, when I feel a song lyric resonate with me, my first instinct has become "that would make a good status message," even though I rarely use those lyrics. About resentment. About politics & current events & just how uneducated we are. About how dense this is and how few people will read it through, and how that's OK, too. About spellcheck and how freaking dependent on it I have become.

Also, I saw a groundhog while on the bus today. 'Twas adorable.
