A week before D-day!
Two days ago, R's mum and his sister brought a huge basket with goodies in them. I know very little about these Chinese customs but it's like the dowry and other gifts brought to the bride's house prior to the wedding.
All I told my mum, after I asked my MIL what we needed to prepare, was to get 18 oranges and two bottles of wine.
I'm glad my MIL guided my mum along on what she needed to do. After all, it's my mum's first experience.
After that, we had a rehearsal in church. Now, I cross my fingers and hope all go well.
