So I got busy then lazy... Here's what I've been up to...
Last Saturday we went to Courts Tampines to purchase electronics only to be told that they could not hold our purchases for more than a month. So we decided to walk around and we found a floor on beds! So we went about trying and after awhile all of them seem the same to me.
Sunday we were at the Philips fair. Yay to electronics we need. We're getting all we need slowly but surely.
Hurray to the start of holidays. I met R at his workplace then my brother who works not too far away from R. He brought me to a small Vietnamese cafe near Ann Siang. Believe or not I ate more than half of the rolls because dear brother still had a bowl of noodles waiting for him.
I'm so glad for wonderful colleagues cos we made a trip to JB for shopping. This was our Kenny Rogers dinner.
After all that walking from the past 4 days, I decided to stay home on Wednesday. That was all I wanted to do anyway. I spent my time reading, in fact re-reading some books which I loved. This particular quote from the Little Prince struck me and it made so much sense. I spent time reflecting on this. I went on to re-read the Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. There are some books that, no matter how many times I read them, my heartstrings will be tugged and tears will flow.
My mum spent some time going through pictures she took in Montanna, when she was there for work. As I understand from her, it's a remote town in the US with nothing much. It becomes alive during winter when people head there to ski.
I dreaded Friday because I had to return to school for meetings. I checked on the progress of the nest too. Pleased with the wiring works which are going on now.
Yesterday, I was rather happy to receive the instax camera I purchased earlier in the week via gmarket. I'm pleased not only with the cheap bargain (cheaper than what shops are retailing it for) but that the site is reliable too. Now, I'm just waiting for the films to arrive.
Phew! Such a long post. I'm looking forward to the next week of more rest. :)
