Today was the start of the primary four camp and I was down for duty.

One of the activities planned was outdoor cooking where each group w given a potato, an orange and an egg. They were provided some flour and water too. So it was rather interesting to see how the facilitators managed the group and got them cooking.

The group attempted to cook potato omelette which you see in the picture above using a Y branch and aluminum foil. Very interesting, I thought. I'm not sure if the pupils in my group ate anything they cooked cos I know that the omelette was discarded. Nevertheless, it was an eye opener.
