On this day, a year ago, 5 little puppies were born. A couple of months after birth, R's family made a decision to give 4 away and to keep the only miniature schnauzer that had brown fur.
This is the eldest and largest puppy at the time of birth, which they decided to keep mainly because it was different from it's siblings. Here she looks so tiny and cute but the youngest of the lot, the female black, was even smaller. I was contemplating on keeping that one but well, my mum didn't agree. I really wonder how she's doing. Anyway, R was the main caretaker of the puppies then because the mother did not have enough milk supply and I suppose whenever the puppies suckled, it hurt so much that the mother walked away. So, R had to bottle feed each puppy at least 4 times a day for the first few months.
Today, Kiki is huge for her age, loves to eat and is so playful. Unfortunately though, her fur is no longer brown but cream colored. She probably took after her father who has white fur.
