A nice cool public holiday!
Yay! A public holiday today! It was nice to spend time with R today. As I've never been to City Square mall, we headed there to have lunch and window shop. We had great Chinese food there. I forget what the restaurant is called but it sells this huge dumpling which has soup in it. If I'm not wrong there's an outlet in Bugis too.
After walking around, we got bored and headed to Plaza Singapura with the intention of buying something. After awhile. we got tired and sat at the Society Cafe. It was our first time there.
Hot chocolate. Wasn't that fantastic.
And a strawberry crepe to share. It was alright. Strawberries were sour though.
We chatted about wedding plans, craft ideas and the future. R continued to amaze me with his precision and logic to certain matters. My response to him was my palm hitting my forehead. It's quite amusing, the way he thinks sometimes. It was a cool n great day overall. We're hoping to hit the beach tomorrow, so let's see if that happens.
