Officials: Teen performs sex act on girl in class in Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Authorities in Gainesville say a 14-year-old boy performed a sex act on a female classmate as other students in the special-needs classroom watched.
The teen was charged this week with sexual battery and false imprisonment. Another boy is accused of helping hold down the girl, who is also 14.
Alachua County Sheriff's Office spokesman Art Forgey said the Dec. 15 incident happened while the teacher had stepped out of the room for about 10 minutes. That teacher has since been disciplined, according to a spokeswoman for Alachua County Public Schools.
