At work, right now, my exhaustion is staggering. My eyelids are heavy, my face feels as though it's about to collapse on the floor, and my muscles are weak. Bad, bad news. The wonderful solution to all these problems? Bike riding. Ah yes, the bike ride. A truly wonderful thing.
I woke up in the middle of the night sweating, which is amazing considering how cold it is outside. But when I pulled back the comforter I became too cold. World's worst Catch 22. I fell back to sleep after that, dealing with the fact that, yes, I was going to sweat. A terrible, terrible thing really.
The more I read of Baudelaire's Paris Spleen the more I love it. He was great. Forgive the sporadic nature of this entry.
Last night we (theglowingelite and myself) went to Wal-Mart. I bought: socks, underwear, undershits, a new pair of Dickies, and a pair of PJ pants. Buying shit rules. How elegant of me. Who cares, it's an aphorism to live by.
