Sacramento, here I come!
...so yeah, I finally decided to update this bitch.
Today I finally found out I was accepted in to the Graduate Department for Economics at Sac State...yay! School starts in about a month, I'm nervous and excited at the same time.
Chris and I also found a place in midtown that I am hoping we get. We're just waiting for them to process the application. Its a 2 bedroom, 1 bath downstairs apartment in a triplex...its super cute. Its an older 1940's brick building with hardwood floors, a fireplace, walk-in closets, washer and dryer hook-ups, and a backyard that has 2 apple trees and plenty of lawn for croquet. Its $975/mo, which is in the high end of my budget, but I really want the place. ::crosses fingers::
Other than that, I am planning on quitting the job I have at the credit union in Davis next month and I am kind in the process of applying for a state job part time at the Department of Insurance....since I'll need some kind of income while going to school.
I'm sad to leave Davis, I love this little town...but I'm also excited to move on to bigger and better things. Exploring downtown Sac I'm sure will be fun. I want to find some neat places and bars to hang out.
I suppose thats all for now.....I'll try and update more often, but we'll see what happens...
