Ai. So here goes.

Chicago was amazing, I can die happy now. When NIN got onstage I kept looking from them to Justin, not beleiving my good luck. Amazing show, amazingly close, amazing time. I got to hang out with Sara a whole bunch, which was so much fun, I didn't even realize how much I missed being with her and talking to her and laughing with her. She's so together in Chicago, I'm so proud of her.

Our hotel, though allegedly haunted, was gloriously ghost free, most of the time. Our hotel (The Congress Hotel) was on stirke as well as haunted, but I didn't see any picketers and the scabs did an allright job. I inspected the room to make sure it was clean because we had heard a few horror stories. The only ghost-like occurance was when Steve saw the toilet paper in the bathroom unroll itself four inches down when he wasn't touching it. Weird.

We went shopping on Belmont and I got two amazing pairs of shoes. One really tall pair of semi-fuzzy black boots with skulls, and another flamy pair of Mary Janes, aka Mary Flames.

Alltogether the trip to Chicago was fun and happy.

I was kind of bummed out when we got back, but yesterday I celebrated Mother's day with my family (minus Kira Jeff and Justin) and that was cool.

I also got my tax return check and my paycheck, which was dated to 5-12 even though today, when I picked it up, was 5-11. Isn't that illegal or something? It should be. I am going to thoroughly complain about it tommorow and be very pissed off, because I couldn't cash it right away and I needed the money.

Friday night will see me in Kalamazoo again, for a formal-wear 40 oz party. Should be interesting. I'm looking forward to it and am simultaneously nervous about it. I'm not a big fan of huge parties, and this one looks to be very huge. And the last formal-wear 40 oz party got really effin crazy.

Summer has really gotten started and it's constantly a mix for me between feeling really busy and feeling like I have nothing to do.
